  • Rhonda Leigh Baber

    AMBIANCE & EXPERIENCE

Rhonda Leigh Baber is living her own crossroads—themes she explores in her forthcoming book and art show, The Naked I: at a crossroads. As Co-Owner and Director of Ambience & Experience at The Window on Sixth, she crafts the mood and texture of the gallery, curating not just what is seen, but what is felt. After raising a family and juggling life in freelance journalism and advertising sales, she has stepped fully into her passions for storytelling through art, writing and film. A lifelong student, she is also pursuing a Master of Public Service at the Clinton School, where her focus on social entrepreneurship and grant writing echoes her belief that creativity and community are inseparable. Alongside her partner and Co-Owner/Curator, TJ Deeter, Rhonda invites you into The Window on Sixth as if stepping into a dream—an ever-shifting space of beauty, intimacy, and transformation. Together, they hope to transform the lives of artists and become a valuable piece of Little Rock’s art culture.

Our Why

There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in. Leonard Cohen

A major shift is happening—both in the world and in our own lives. At this stage, we found ourselves searching for something deeper, something sustainable. We weren’t just looking for a way to survive—we were looking for a way to live, fully and creatively, without compromising our values. We’ve all heard the myth: that making a good living as an artist means selling your soul, or giving up the soul of your work. That creativity and financial stability are mutually exclusive.

We don’t believe that.

We believe it’s possible to earn a living through meaningful, imaginative work. To build a life rooted in creativity, community, and collaboration. We knew what we were after—and we knew the time was now. But the question was: how?

Next thing we know, we stumbled upon this place with a storefront window, and instantly, a vision was born—a space where we could live what we truly want for ourselves. The Window on Sixth is a rebirth. A home for beauty, boldness, and reinvention. We opened this space to showcase not just what we make, but the kind of world we want to live in—one shaped by imagination, intimacy, and art.

This space is our story. And maybe, it can be part of yours too.
